WHAT'S IN THE VIRTUAL TASTING KIT?
The Virtual Tasting Kit has coffees, cups and forms for the tasting, along with a grind sample, so you can be confident that your grinder is calibrated correctly before we start.
We'll also send four 2 oz bags of each of the coffees so you can enjoy after the tasting!
All you need at home is a coffee grinder, a kettle (1.2 L), two spoons
per participant and two extra cups. No brewer required!

FAQ
We highly recommend whole bean for an optimal tasting experience, but if you don't have access to a grinder, we can ship you the coffees ground and vacuum sealed.
The coffees come in pre-weighed pouches, and the cups are just the right size for the amount of water needed, so no scale is required.
We know that shipments can get delayed, especially during this pandemic, so we monitor tracking info and will alert you if we think the package won't get to you in time so you're able to reschedule. For more info, see this article.
We recommend grinding about 10 minutes before the session, but no sooner than that. If you have a hand grinder, it may take a few extra minutes.
Yes! We include 2 Tasting Forms in each kit for 2 people (per screen). More people can be added by copying the form if needed.
This session is a modified version of the professional cupping style of tasting. Since there’s multiple steps involved, unfortunately, there isn't enough time for a brew session.
We'll ship it about a week before your scheduled time, so that all households receive fresh coffee just in time for the tasting (with a little bit of buffer). We'll share tracking information as soon as it's shipped.

Yes, absolutely!
Yes, we know things happen and schedules change! You can reschedule up to 12 hours before the session (there is a link to change the appointment in your confirmation e-mail). However, please bear in mind that we have limited slots available and would appreciate as much advance notice as possible for any changes.
Unfortunately, this is only available for U.S.-based households at this time.
