 For this month's # 2 Classic Profile coffee, we are featuring MOS (Mexico Oaxaca San Pedro) coffee. This coffee comes from 34 small coffee farmers who have land near San Pedro Sochiapam, a municipality Oaxaca state. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In Oaxaca, coffee production is primarily located in the southern part of the state where substantial mountain ranges run through. Almost all of the coffee grown in this area qualifies as “altura,” or “high grown.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This coffee offers sweet and balanced flavors, and you will enjoy its milk chocolate, cinnamon, and brown sugar tasting notes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -- Learn more about this month's coffees at drifaway.coffee/coffees Image via @croptocup

 This month's # 3 Balanced Profile coffee comes from Risaralda, Colombia. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This selection comes from the Mustafá Family, which owns and operates a coffee farm in Colombia’s Risaralda region. Like many other coffee farmers in Colombia, growing and producing coffee is a family business for the Mustafás. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Herbert Peñaloza Correa, who works with an independent group of farmers, came to Brooklyn this Fall to show us the coffees that he and his partners have harvested this year. Multiple members of our staff all picked the farm Finca Mustafá as their favorite at the tasting. It is a sweet coffee with complex fruit flavors that tend to be both citric and stone-fruit-like. Depending on how it is roasted, this coffee has a tendency towards citrus or stone-fruit and the dominant flavor can be balanced to preference. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ — Learn more about this month's coffees at driftaway.coffee/coffees
