India is the 7th largest producer of coffee in the world, but when was the last time you saw Indian coffee in your grocery store or local coffee shop? Most Indian coffee gets sold as commodity coffee blenders, making the role of India as a major coffee producer invisible.
As an Indian immigrant-owned coffee roaster, we are proud to bring this under-represented coffee origin into the spotlight it deserves. It’s time to shift the perception of specialty Indian coffee (it’s more than Monsoon Malabar or South Indian filter coffee) and showcase how Indian coffee can shine alongside other well-known coffee origins. This year, we are excited to be sourcing directly from a few different Indian coffee farms that we’ve had the privilege of visiting and building direct relationships with, and we cannot wait for you to experience them.
